Title: Bootstrapping-Free Ring-LWE Based Encrypted Dynamic Control
Abstract: In this talk, I will give a brief tutorial on Ring Learning With Errors (Ring-LWE) based homomorphic encryption schemes and introduce my recent results on its application to encrypted dynamic control. We show how classical concepts from control theory, such as closed-loop stability and rational canonical form, can be employed to efficiently implement dynamic controllers over encrypted data. In particular, the proposed method eliminates the need for bootstrapping, thus significantly improving computational efficiency and taking a step towards practical implementation of encrypted control.
