Visit to dSPACE Japan Headquarters

The members of KimiLab visited the headquarters of dSPACE Japan, located in Gotenyama, Shinagawa, Tokyo. During the visit, we received an explanation about Model-Based Development (MBD), which is widely adopted in automotive manufacturing processes. We also learned some fascinating facts, such as the company’s origins as a startup founded by students from Paderborn University in Germany and how new technology development is largely driven by their interns.

It was encouraging to see their interest in encrypted control technology. As a result, we agreed to collaborate on an (international) joint project aimed at the societal implementation of this technology. We are very excited to see what kind of activities this partnership will lead to in the future!
