Visit to DENSO WAVE and Kariya FA Center Robot@Home

The members of KimiLab visited the headquarters factory and the Kariya FA Center Robot@Home of DENSO WAVE Corporation. At the headquarters factory, we observed advanced production line management techniques that effectively incorporate cutting-edge technologies like QR tags. We also had the opportunity to see compact, space-saving collaborative robots performing repetitive tasks, showcasing their potential as replacements for human labor in simple operations.

At Robot@Home, we toured test booths and open laboratories where DENSO’s robotic systems, including COBOTTA, are developed. Engaging with engineers, including alumni from our university, was meaningful. We were particularly impressed by how DENSO WAVE integrates hardware and software to advance comprehensive technology development, from control units to robotic arms.

This company offers a highly promising environment for students with a passion for technology and an interest in developing the next generation of collaborative robots.
